Does anyone of any good persuasive research topics??

i want to write about something pertaining to medical...health care....but i would love to hear any other good ideas....also my paper cannot be about a moral issue

Does anyone of any good persuasive research topics??
There's always good fun to be had looking at alternative medicine vs. traditional medicine ... you don't say how deep your topic has to be, but one piece of research I've always wanted to see done would be to recruit a decent sample of women (30+) and have them apply a beauty treatment to one half of their body only - e.g. face cream, bust lifter, remove cellulite from the thighs, whatever - for about a month and then have them go to the vendors of said treatments and ask them to say which side was treated. You could probably publish that (or get paid a lot of money not to).
