I have a research paper to do and have to turn in a thesis statement tomorrow. The thesis has to be in outline form. The paper is for a class that is about Britain in the Modern Centuries. This is roughly from The Romantics thru WW1, and the paper is to be between 10-12 pages.

You're looking for a topic? This is a busy period and there should be many topics available. You could do a topic on women, literature, education, jobs, religion, etc. I find it easiest to pick a topic from my class notes, something that the prof has already touched on, and expand from there.
