I have a research paper and I was looking for a controversial topic that is more interesting then the ordinary subjects. If you have any ideas I would love to hear them; and I have no objection to EXTREAMLY out there thoughts as I like to stir up arguments and provoke horror-stricken looks within my very preppy and conservative AP English class.

you could claim the allies were the evil side in ww1. Im not even kidding, and Im not some white nazi lover.

Allies fault:
Serbia: Started it.
Russia: Backed all Slavs indiscriminately. First military action (mobilizing).
France: Wanted Alsalce/Lorraine from Germany
Britain: Pretending it was ok for Germany to attack Belgium, then trading spots
US: Getting rich selling stuff to france/britain, then acting all surprised when Germany blows up some ships (and they did stop)
Japan: Stealing part of China under guise of helping Allies.
although i hate how germany did the whole sealed train thing with lenin.
Reply:hmm... gay marriages, war in Iraq, sex change operations (how to deal being another sex, etc), the truth in Waco TX , the recent immigration rallies, and a really good one (would involve a lot of research) how much power should we allow the Native American reservations have over 'government' issues ( I know of a white woman who was held captive in a tribal hotel by tribal police for days without food or water and was allowed to get away with it because the local government cannot control their laws)
