Do you have to include copies of the sources in research papers?

I am being forced to include scanned copies of my sources relating to my research topic. Has anyone who recently wrote a paper needed to do that? Or is my teacher just making me do busy work?

Do you have to include copies of the sources in research papers?
yes you have to always
Reply:This is something new to me. You're always responsible for citing your sources (footnoting %26amp; putting the sources at the end) but I've never heard of scanning the copies of the sources. Perhaps too many students have been plagerizing (copying word for word). Your teacher must have a reason, but I don't see what it would be. You have to follow her instructions or she can dock your grade.
Reply:nvr heard a this! usually u just cite in the ppr and give a reference page at the end of just the things u used in a formal format. I think ur teacher is tired of ppl cheating and making stuff up. or u may actually need to use a piece of that information somewhere or they wan tto see if u r putting things in ur own words and not copying and/or pasting which is cheating and stealing!!!!!
Reply:Yeah, it's pretty mandatory. I've had to do this. It's not extra work. Your teacher needs it to be sure you parenthetically documented correctly, did not cheat, did adequate research, etc.. Don't skip out on this step!!
Reply:Our teacher made us make electronic note cards that we have to copy and paste all the information from the sources we use in an annotated bibliography format.
