What are some interesting research paper topics?

Why not start with something you're interested in? You don't say how long your paper needs to be...if it's a short paper, be sure your topic is narrow enough for you to address in just a few pages; if it's a long paper, you can tackle something larger. For example, if you're interested in music, a short paper might be on a particular style of guitar; a long paper might be on a style of music (like R %26amp; B). Consider yourself lucky that your topic has been left up to you - - since a research paper will be demanding of your time, you may as well select something that you're really interested in! Good luck.
