I need some topics for a research paper, which we can make it a persuasive research paper. Any suggestions?

I have to do a research paper for my Eng 102-1. My instructor wants us to do a paper on a topic that she hasn't read much about.I'm thinking about doing a topic on how to make marriage/relationships survive, but if anyone has any other better suggestions, please let me know. Thanks!

I need some topics for a research paper, which we can make it a persuasive research paper. Any suggestions?
How about the following:

The right to pray in public schools?

Why we should have healthier food in our public school system.

Why losing weight is good for your heart.

The economic reason for staying in a marriage.

Why health care should be free to people that are not making enough money.
Reply:Do a paper on romance involving the blind --- that would be interesting ! (Contact school for blind and meet with people there and ask questions etc.)
Reply:if it is going to be persuasive then you need to pick something that people are either on one side or the other, like abortion (pro choice or pro life) or euthanasia right to die issues.
Reply:Something that has two opposite/clear cut sides and a lot of sources available to write about.
Reply:YOu have a great topic and one that appeals to you.

do research on intellectual foreplay and the importance of using it before marriage or any relationship. It is the time when you get to know each other by asking serious questions, finding out beliefs, how situations would be handled, etc. It is essential if a relationship is to work.
Reply:I did this one for my Chemistry paper, the benifits of Nicotine. Cigeretts are harmfull but Nicotine other then being addictive has some benificial uses.
Reply:English teachers love to feed first years students crap like that. In the end, just write something that you find intereseting. if you don't like the topic, the paper will suck and you'll get a bad grade. and thats no fun.

your idea is good, just be sure to have good examples and lots of argumentation. and stick by your point. oh and be sure to get alot of people to read your draft. at least two.
Reply:The rise of socialism since the McCarthy era.
Reply:abortion is always an easy topic to write about persuasively. immigration would be my first and most obvious choice.
Reply:Theirs going to be a large controversy on the reliability of urine tests. Right now, if you show a positive for a particular drug so called experts assume that particular drug is in the system. Suddenly people are showing positive for drugs their not using. Example; Prozac shows positive for valium. It would be rather simple to dis-prove this by continually testing this same individual in a closed environment. If tests continue to show positive, a paper could be written disproving the norm.

Obesity - a mojor problem for today's soceity

2)

The significance of various colors and their placement in relation to life

for example if two blue boxes placed one on top serve the purpose of bringing the effect of a single green box? something like that

3)

a classification of words with

bad meaning and which also sound bad

bad meaning but sounds good

good meaning but sounds bad

good meaning that also sound good
