i have to write a research proposal having to do with communication and i am having problems coming up with a topic and hypothesis!

What would be a good topic for a research proposal having to do with communication?

Hypothesis: Will the merger of the US's major wireless communication companie have a major effect on consumers?





Major Mergers: SBC and AT%26amp;T; Verizon and MCI; and Sprint and Nextel
Reply:Here's a good one: children obey their fathers more than their mothers. But why? Because men are stronger? NO, it is because of communication.





Men use direct commands, like "Clean your room."


Women use indirect commands, like "I'd like it if you would clean your room" or "It would be nice if you would clean your room"





The child doesn't know an indirect command is a command at all. Now, when the child's obedience was sorted by direct or indirect command, it turns out he or she obeys direct commands regardless of whether they come from the father or from the mother.
