Is there a good website that helps in researching health topics for pets?

Our dog has a blocked anal gland, and I want to read all I can about it.

I like this one because they have pictures which often show you more than you really wanted to see.

I wouldn't limit it to just one site because different people have different opinions on just about every topic.

Here is also a general purpose link to veterinary schools around the country. They have more cutting edge information.

More links to veterinary organizations. Some have more articles and information than others.

Reply:My personal favorite is Merck. It is very techical, but it covers everything. Even those things your vet would prefer you not know.

Remember, sometimes a little knowlegde is dangerous. Be very careful in reading to not get overly concerned. These manuals were written for vets and tend to scare you to death when you read about certain ailments.

Reply:I don't know what search engine you have on your computer ... I have Google. Whatever you want to research, (i.e. anal glands) there's a wealth of good, researched information on line. Good luck.
